So it turns out that Tamil culture is even more
male-dominated than the West… The hardest thing to get used to is that it is disrespectful for a woman to
cross her legs in the presence of a man, especially in church. I definitely
failed many times with that one.
Got to spend some time today talking to Pastor C., the pastor who leads the church plant and house churches in this
area. He has faced a lot of violence and persecution for his faith, but he has
a vision to reach the Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists in this town.

- For Pastor C.’s vision that 10 people from each village across the lagoon would come to know the --Lord (there are 600 villages)
- For perseverance and faith amidst the heavy persecution of the Christian church
- For the completion of their church building
